We are pleased to offer a new scholarship opportunity for low-income students who demonstrate academic readiness for Mathcamp: the Mathematics Foundation of America Fellowship. It will be awarded to one or more students per year who are passionate about mathematics and would benefit from year-round support.

To be considered for the Fellowship, the applicant must meet the following eligibility requirements:
All students in the U.S. are eligible to apply, regardless of ethnicity, national origin, or immigration status. First preference is given to those who are in the first generation of their families to pursue higher education.
(Note that if you are ineligible to apply for the Fellowship but are interested in Mathcamp and would need financial assistance to attend, don't worry! All students are eligible to apply for scholarships through the regular Financial Aid application.)
To be considered for this award, please compose short-answer responses of no more than 250 words each in response to the following two prompts:
There is no cost or fee associated with completing and submitting a Mathematics Foundation of America Fellowship application or an application for admission and financial aid to Mathcamp.
Fellowship applications are submitted through our online system.
Students must qualify for Mathcamp (see How To Apply to learn more) and demonstrate financial need via the Mathcamp financial aid application (see Scholarships for details). Fellowship recipients will be selected based on qualities that will help them to succeed in their summer(s) at Mathcamp: passion for mathematics (as demonstrated through the application for admission to Mathcamp) and perseverance through challenges (as demonstrated through the Fellowship application).
The deadline to apply is March 10, 2022.
All applicants, whether selected for the Fellowship or not, are notified by email. Recipients’ names will be not be published.
