Qualifying Quiz Solutions
Curious about the solutions to the Qualifying Quiz, or looking for feedback on your own Quiz solutions? Based on popular demand in 2010, we created a new system for discussing the Quiz problems: an Art of Problem Solving "Math Jam" devoted to the Qualifying Quiz. The Jam is an online, interactive conversational forum, facilitated by a Mathcamp instructor, to discuss the Qualifying Quiz. In addition to the solutions themselves, we talk about how you would come up with a solution and how to write up your solution so that all of the necessary pieces are in place. The event is a real-time discussion where participants help guide us through the problems and are able to ask questions throughout. There is also a transcript of each Jam, which we will post here afterwards in case you missed it.
