About Mines

Colorado School of Mines is a world-class engineering university at the foot of the Rocky Mountains. Mines is located in Golden, Colorado, population approximately 20,000, right in the city center. Within a 10-minute walk from campus are restaurants, cafes, and shops. It is approximately 15 miles west of downtown Denver, 20 miles south of Boulder, and 40 miles west of Denver International Airport.

Mines has comprehensive wireless connectivity in all campus buildings, state-of-the-art athletic facilities (including a climbing wall, track, swimming pool, and weight room), and a brand-new dining hall, which is adjacent to our dorm.

If you need to pick up necessities, you can buy notebooks, shampoo, and the likes at the Campus Bookstore, located in the Student Center. There are also several major supermarkets within half a mile of campus open 5am - 11pm.

Mathcamp 2018 will be housed housed in Elm Hall.
