How much does Mathcamp cost?

The basic fees for Mathcamp 2008 are as follows (all amounts are in US dollars):

The camp fee includes tuition, room, board, and all extracurricular activities. The application fee is waived for online applicants; we much prefer that you apply online if possible.

Automatic Tuition Reduction

Note that every student whose annual household income is below $100,000 automatically qualifies for a tuition reduction. For example, if a student's total household income is $40,000 or below, the camp fee is automatically lowered to $2000; for intermediate incomes, the fee is lowered proportionally. We also award over $50,000 in additional scholarships, based on a combination of merit and need. See the Financial Assistance page for details.

Registration and Withdrawal

Successful applicants will be sent a registration form, to be completed and returned with a deposit of one quarter of the camp fee. The remaining amount, less any scholarship award, will be payable on the first day of camp.

If you decide to withdraw from the camp and give us sufficient notice, the camp fee deposit will be returned to you, less an administrative fee of US$100. After June 10th, refunds are available only for absence due to illness. In this case, the student will be reimbursed for the time he or she missed, less an administrative fee of US$100.
